Was that really me?

Did I hear those words coming out of my mouth or was I possessed by some confused, troublesome spirit who thought they'd test my strength and push me further than I've been pushed before?

Did I really offer to give up a weekend in London, with the chance to see a West End Show (bearing in mind I've been wanting to do this forever!!!), in September to spend five days in Haven Holiday Park with my in-laws?

Did I really offer to give up a weekend of naughtiness (the kind of naughtiness you only vaguely remember having before you have children) to spend a frigid week scared to even kiss my hubbie on the cheek whilst sharing a caravan with possibly my mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, sis-in-law's husband and maybe even our niece and her fiancĂ©?

What on earth was I thinking?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Two years to practise...

Hopefully that's enough time for me to overcome my nerves and play the piano at my niece's wedding, won't it?

I'm not so sure as I'm shaking just thinking about it right now and I haven't even started to think of what I'm going to play for her.

She asked me if I'd play as she walked down the aisle, and obviously I couldn't refuse (well I could, she's not my niece, she's my hubbie's niece) but I have a really hard time telling people no. I then heard myself offering to play the hymns for her and also to play before the service started and while she was signing the register with her new husband (all the while chanting in my head, shut up you stupid woman!!!!!).

Needless to say I went straight onto Amazon and ordered a couple of wedding music books and I'll be rummaging through my library of sheet music and books also to find the perfect pieces to play but I'm terrified!

Dum dum de dum.....

Organised!

Santa has one trike left to buy, Mummy has a lot of baking to do and Daddy just needs to get paid so we can give all his nephews and niece their Christmas money and that's all the Christmas present bought, wrapped and waiting to be delivered.

Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Organised is not something you would associate with our house but this year for a change we're all organised and ready and raring to go (I even have all the Shloer bought and hid away for Christmas day).

Other than the fresh food we'll need nothing else needs bought that we're aware of so far so why do I feel like I'm missing something?
